About Our Organization
READS - Rural Education and Development Society, Chetpet, Tamilnadu is a registered voluntary organization involved in education, Health, Skill Training, MR Residential School, Agriculture and micro finance lending to SHG members and rural development activities in Tiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Vellore district of Tamilnadu and puducherry. Started in this year 1992. Its focus is to empower the poor people in remote rural villages of Tiruvannamalai, Kanchipuram, Villupuram, Kallakurichi, Vellore district of Tamilnadu and puducherry. It believes in people's ability to respond their own situation by creating awareness on their needs and resource available to them to satisfy their needs through collective effort.

To build capacity of poor and disadvantaged people in order to enable them to cross all social and economic barriers and there by facilitate their holistic development into empowered individuals.

Meet our Chief Executive Officer, a graduate from SSN college of engineering from IT background working for rural community especially women empowerment since 2015. In addition to has graduated-Business Executive Management (10K women) from IIMB sponsored by Goldman Sachs. Specialised in bridging a gap between rural people problems to sustainable solutions with support of govt/private organisations. Marketing Director of Tiruvannamalai consortium of farmer producer company supported by Agri marketing department / District administration.
